Bad News About Apple User iPhone 13 and 14 Face Screen Issues. Newer iPhones seem to be experiencing the same problem as Android phones. It’s usually Android phones that experience bugs with a new software update, but this time, it’s iOS 16 that’s affecting the iPhone 14 and 13.

iPhone 13 and 14 Face Screen Issues

iOS 16 has introduced new bugs to iPhones around the world and the latest wave targets phone screens. Some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 models are reportedly experiencing a strange screen freezing bug. The bug causes all on-screen animations to stop working completely. The issue appeared for some users shortly after updating to iOS 16.1. which was released last week to fix previous issues.

Several iPhone 14 Pro users have taken to social media to voice their concerns and report issues with their units.

In one case, a video on YouTube showed the iPhone 14 Pro stuck on the Spotlight search menu, despite the user trying to exit. The phone was unable to reach its home screen even though the app switcher was working perfectly. meaning the phone was not completely unresponsive.

Some other phones have the green screen issue instead as seen above. It is mostly affecting iPhone 13 devices. Once the screen turns green, the phone becomes completely unusable. Those who still had the phones under warranty were able to get their units replaced. but it appears to be a software issue rather than a hardware issue.

Apple has yet to make an official statement about the matter. but the Cupertino giant is likely already aware and may be working on it. It’s highly likely that iOS 16.2 will fix some of these bugs. but it’s unclear if it will also fix the screen issue. We don’t even know when it will be released to the public.
