How to Fix FIFA 23 Unrecoverable Error | Secure Boot Error
EA Sports has finally released the Fix FIFA 23 football simulation video game as a witness to the end of an era due to separation from FIFA. EA Sports will continue to push the next generation of soccer games with new titles next year. So, FIFA 23 can be considered a farewell to the franchise with all due respect. But that doesn’t mean the game is bug-free or error-free. It seems that many players are facing FIFA 23 unrecoverable error or safe boot error.
Well, don’t worry if you too are suffering from such a problem. Fortunately, here are some possible solutions for you that should come in handy. While FIFA 23 already has some highly reported issues such as graphical glitches, low frame rates, game lag or stuttering, startup crashes, etc., some FUT cross-platform transfers are hurting the market. Now, the EA anti-cheat ‘unrecoverable’ flaw adds icing on the cake.

If we take a closer look at this specific error, it mainly appears whenever players try to launch FIFA 23 on PC via EA Desktop App or Origin client. This particular error throws out an error message that says “Secure Boot is not enabled on this machine.” While some other unfortunate FIFA 23 players are experiencing “an error in the EA Anti-Cheat Service. Please restart the game.” An error message that sounds quite frustrating.

Best of all, the FIFA Direct Communication Twitter handle is aware of the issue and has officially acknowledged it, which you can see below. Currently, the developers are investigating this issue, and hopefully a permanent solution will be available soon. It seems that the unrecoverable or safe boot error is probably related to the Easy Anti-Cheat system that is integrated with the FIFA 23 game on PC for security reasons.
If you’re not familiar enough, Secure Boot is a feature that can be enabled or disabled on a Windows computer. By enabling the Secure Boot security system, you will be able to prevent unwanted or malicious software from being loaded onto the PC when the system boots up. Most modern computers have a secure boot system enabled by default that is a part of the BIOS on the PC motherboard whether you are using a desktop or a laptop.
