iPadOS 16 is finally releasing on October 24 along with MacOS Ventura
After delaying it for a month, Apple has finally revealed that it will officially release iPadOS 16 to users on October 24th. Take a look at the details about Apple iPad 16.
iPadOS 16 Coming This Month: Features, Eligible Devices
The iPadOS 16 update will arrive after a slight delay. Usually, a new version of iPadOS comes with an iOS update, but this year was different. Apple previously confirmed that it will release the Apple iPad 16 update after iOS 16.
Apple’s decision to delay the release of iPadOS 16 was mainly due to its Stage Manager feature, a multitasking feature that allows people to create multiple windows, resize them, and even allows them to overlap. The feature needed further refinement as it showed UI issues and bugs in its beta days and was also limited to M1 iPads, thus, attracting criticism.

However, the Stage Manager feature of iPadOS 16 will now be available for iPad Air (5th generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later) and iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later). It will also get external display support (up to 6K in resolution) and will be available later this year.
Other features include different color standards, new iMessage features, new Weather app, Safari tweaks and shortcuts, iCloud shared photo library, redesigned Mail app, redesigned Game Center dashboard, and more to show reference colors. In addition, the latest macOS Ventura update will also be released on the same date.
